How many calories should you eat for fat loss? Should you only eat 1200 calories or eating more will help you lose more weight? When trying to lose fat, your body needs a small deficit of calories. Not eating enough (aka low calorie #diet) causes your #metabolism to crash and burn. Lowering your calories too low will cause you body to essentially starve and your body will hang on to all energy reserves (which means FAT). The scale goes up, #fatloss stops and the cycle of dieting continues.
